P&G Malaysia launches Open Minds.

July 2005

 

Open Minds raises RM2 million for Yayasan Nur from the proceeds of the sale of Open Minds-Yayasan Nur Charity Album, Charity Concert and Charity Gala Dinner.

July 2007

 

Open Minds collaborates with the Ministry of Education and Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia to develop a Special Education Blueprint.

Open Minds is accorded Honourable Mention in the Community & Social Welfare category at the inaugural Prime Minister’s CSR Awards.

Open Minds organises Special Screening of Kung-Fu Panda for 50 special children and caregivers from the Special Children Society of Ampang.

Open Minds donates RM 350,000 to build a Snoezelen Therapy Room at Sekolah Kebangsaan Putrajaya Presint 9 (2) to enhance the school’s special education wing.

Open Minds hosts 60 new P&G employees from across ASEAN to a visit to the Special Children Centre in Klang, Selangor.

Open Minds organises Special Screening of Madagascar 2 for 70 children and caregivers from the Spastics Children Association of Selangor and Federal Territory (SCAS&FT).

Open Minds hosts 50 special children and caregivers from the Special Children Society of Ampang to a fun outing at Aquaria KLCC.

Open Minds pledges RM 280,000 to build multi-sensory therapy rooms at 14 community-based rehabilitation centres nationwide. The Minister of Women, Family and Community Development, Dato’ Sri Shahrizat Abdul Jalil launches the first multi-sensory therapy rooms at PDK Desa Tun Hussein Onn, Kuala Lumpur under the auspices of the 4th Division of the Malaysian Armed Forces.

Open Minds collaborates with Watsons Malaysia in the campaign “The Best of Beauty & Grooming by P&G” to raise RM33,307.00 for the National Autism Society of Malaysia (NASOM).
